You've Been Here Before.
This is a story that every Nigerian knows too well.
"Imagine this: It's a Saturday morning. Wedding at 11. You bring out your best agbada or corporate suit — perfectly laid out since Friday. You plug in the iron. And then… PHCN strikes. Just like that. Light gone. You look outside. Neighbor's gen is on full blast — but it can't carry your 1500W iron. So you’re standing there looking like “before and after” in one human being — fully dressed but your shirt still doing geography practicals with all the wrinkles 😭 Now you’re just standing anyhow, avoiding eye contact and praying nobody asks you, “Oga, your iron offend you this morning?”
"Or imagine you're a final-year student in Lautech, UniLag or FUTA. You have a seminar presentation. Your hostel has been dark for three days. No inverter, no gen. Your clothes look like you slept in them. This is not how you want to walk into that room."
